Going to the Macy's Flower Show in San Francisco has been a family tradition since we were tiny little children. When I was a little girl we looked forward each year at Easter time to going downtown to see the amazing flower and beautiful plant decorations. Afterwards we would have lunch and do some shopping for Easter. This year we went with my daughter and parents and had a fantastic time!!!

Easter 2010
We had an absolutely wonderful Easter. It was raining this year so we were unable to do an Easter egg hunt for the children, but we still had little Easter baskets for them filled with scrumptious sugar cookies and little eggs. We served a buffet for Easter this year. We had ham topped with homemade brown sugar, apple cider and Dijon mustard topping. Homemade macaroni and cheese, potato salad, green salad and roasted asparagus. For desert we had cookies, cupcakes and a pistachio cake topped with raspberry sauce and whipped cream. A fun time was had by all.

Wishing Everyone A Happy Easter 2010

I hope that you all have a very Happy Easter!!!!
Because as usual I am very short on time, I am going to share with you some of my pictures from last year's Easter. Easter is by far the most important of all the holidays for me. First because of the spiritual significance of Easter and also because it is a time to rejoice, reflect and be thankful for all the happiness and love that we have.
I made some fun Easter baskets for each child that came to our home. We put some candy treats, eggs, and little toys for each child in his or her basket. We also had an Easter egg hunt out in the garden which was enjoyed by all the children. As you can see, the eggs were rather visible but the kids enjoyed scrambling about trying to get as many as possible. These little cupcakes were made to resemble an Easter basket. I am not sure they do, but they were fun to make :-)
