We had an absolutely wonderful Easter. It was raining this year so we were unable to do an Easter egg hunt for the children, but we still had little Easter baskets for them filled with scrumptious sugar cookies and little eggs. We served a buffet for Easter this year. We had ham topped with homemade brown sugar, apple cider and Dijon mustard topping. Homemade macaroni and cheese, potato salad, green salad and roasted asparagus. For desert we had cookies, cupcakes and a pistachio cake topped with raspberry sauce and whipped cream. A fun time was had by all.

Fun Girls Party - Pink Jeweled Boxes - IV
When the girls were finished I removed any spaghetti glue strings from their boxes then wrapped them in tissue paper and placed them in their goody bags which also had their names on them. The girls seemed to enjoy this project.
On Friday this will be in Cindy's Show and Tell Friday at the beautiful My Romantic Home.
On Saturday it will be entered in the fabulous Pink Saturday at How Sweet the Sound. This is one of the funnest blog parties there is!!!!

Fun Girls Party - Party Tent and Puppies - II
We started out the party by playing out in the garden. I gave each girl some bubbles and they all ran around and blew them running through our little party tent that was set up. After, the girls all wanted to see our new baby scottie dogs -Hopscotch and Butterscotch. This was a huge hit with the girls.
We thereafter all washed our hands and we then went back to the garden and had refreshments :-)
After playing we passed out some of the "winner" medallions.
