Wishing Everyone A Happy Easter 2010

I hope that you all have a very Happy Easter!!!!

Because as usual I am very short on time, I am going to share with you some of my pictures from last year's Easter. Easter is by far the most important of all the holidays for me. First because of the spiritual significance of Easter and also because it is a time to rejoice, reflect and be thankful for all the happiness and love that we have.

I made some fun Easter baskets for each child that came to our home. We put some candy treats, eggs, and little toys for each child in his or her basket. We also had an Easter egg hunt out in the garden which was enjoyed by all the children. As you can see, the eggs were rather visible but the kids enjoyed scrambling about trying to get as many as possible. These little cupcakes were made to resemble an Easter basket. I am not sure they do, but they were fun to make :-)

Thanks for stopping by my blog, the Frugal Missus. I am your newest follower! You are my first new blog for the Friday Follow and I have to say I am excited to meet you and have the chance to visit your blog. I just love your Easter baskets and cupcakes. (I have a weakness for cupcakes)I am so inspired by the pictures of the mad hatters tea! Simply divine, I just want to sit and have a visit!

I hope you will come back to visit me often! No telling what I will get myself into decorating wise or life wise!

Lia, you host the most charming parties for your daughter and her friends. The egg hunt looks like there is plenty for all, and the baskets were no doubt a favorite party treat. Your serving table is beautifully presented and full of color. I like the sweet cupcake baskets. They are a clever idea. You are a terrific hostess!
Happy Easter to you and your family!

Oh, I'm seeing lots awesome cupcakes and other sweet things here. I love to look at pastries, maybe that my Dad was a pastry chef has something to do with it. I'm glad I don't have the urge to eat sweets though -looking is totally enough for me, most of the time LOL.
