I hope that you all have a very Happy Easter!!!!
Because as usual I am very short on time, I am going to share with you some of my pictures from last year's Easter. Easter is by far the most important of all the holidays for me. First because of the spiritual significance of Easter and also because it is a time to rejoice, reflect and be thankful for all the happiness and love that we have.
I made some fun Easter baskets for each child that came to our home. We put some candy treats, eggs, and little toys for each child in his or her basket. We also had an Easter egg hunt out in the garden which was enjoyed by all the children. As you can see, the eggs were rather visible but the kids enjoyed scrambling about trying to get as many as possible. These little cupcakes were made to resemble an Easter basket. I am not sure they do, but they were fun to make :-)

How lovely! I wish I could decorate like you do. I have no decorations up this year- maybe next!

this looks like the easter of every child's dreams!! anne
Lia, you host the most charming parties for your daughter and her friends. The egg hunt looks like there is plenty for all, and the baskets were no doubt a favorite party treat. Your serving table is beautifully presented and full of color. I like the sweet cupcake baskets. They are a clever idea. You are a terrific hostess!
Happy Easter to you and your family!

Oh, I'm seeing lots awesome cupcakes and other sweet things here. I love to look at pastries, maybe that my Dad was a pastry chef has something to do with it. I'm glad I don't have the urge to eat sweets though -looking is totally enough for me, most of the time LOL.
It is fun for the kids to look for the easter eggs we do that here to.
