Easter 2010

We had an absolutely wonderful Easter. It was raining this year so we were unable to do an Easter egg hunt for the children, but we still had little Easter baskets for them filled with scrumptious sugar cookies and little eggs. We served a buffet for Easter this year. We had ham topped with homemade brown sugar, apple cider and Dijon mustard topping. Homemade macaroni and cheese, potato salad, green salad and roasted asparagus. For desert we had cookies, cupcakes and a pistachio cake topped with raspberry sauce and whipped cream. A fun time was had by all.

What a beautiful Easter buffet! I especially like the tiered cupcake stand and pretty cupcakes. Love the orchid too.
Each vignette is adorable as I traveled down your table. My, your food looks good too!

I think you would be an excellent caterer. You have a knack for displaying. The napkin vignette is delightful.

I absolutely LOVE your blog and have emailed the link to my daughters who are mothers of my darling granddaughters. They love creating special birthday parties for Paige (6), Michaela (4) and our littlest one Alexandra (9 mos). I'm sure you will be an inspiration to them just as you are to me. Having worked in schools, we always vacationed during Easter Break. Now that we are retired, we are not bound to that schedule, so I am starting to collect items for an Easter celebration next year. I would so love to find that darling bunnie that holds your napkins.
I have become a follower of your blog and I do appreciate the lovely comment you left on mine.
