Flower Show

Going to the Macy's Flower Show in San Francisco has been a family tradition since we were tiny little children. When I was a little girl we looked forward each year at Easter time to going downtown to see the amazing flower and beautiful plant decorations. Afterwards we would have lunch and do some shopping for Easter. This year we went with my daughter and parents and had a fantastic time!!!

Hi Lia -
Thanks for stopping by my blog and leaving the nice comments. I used to work at Macy's San Fran back in the early 80's. I did the displays in cosmetics and accessories. It was quite a fun job. I was a straight girl thrown in with 30 gays guys. Talk about fun!!! I bought my wedding dress at I Magnum. Is that store still is existance? It was right on the top of the square. Fond memories for sure. The only thing I missed is the year I lived there the cable car system was being re-vamped, so I never got to ride on one.

I just ate my dinner and paging through all of your posts is making me crave a piece of cake. They all look so delicious. Maybe I will whip one up, the night is still young. I am looking forward to following you.
My best- Diane

Thank you for visiting and signing into Becolorful. I wanted to return the favor. I love your pink wallpaper. So springy and cheerful. I read your flower show post. What a great tradition. I took my mom to one here locally too. It was a great way to top off Easter.

Now I'm off to do some more reading. I see food posts. I'm not much of a cook but I do like to set the table and I think I saw some great tablescapes
Thanks again,

San Francisco is probably my second favourite place in the US (New York is my Favourite!) When we were there last it was Christmas and we stayed at the Ritz.We took the kids to a sweet Teddy bear tea there and it was just lovely. We also spent lots of time in Macys and in Union square and it was magical at that time of year. Maybe I should plan to go there at Easter time next time we visit though, because these pictures are amazing! You are so lucky to live in such a great place!

Best wishes for a beautiful weekend,
Natasha.
